Environmental Research Laboratory

The modern environmental research laboratory has commercial and custom instrumentation for aerosol generation, collection, and detection. This Laboratory serves as a research facility for the study of the behavior of fine particles, and as a support facility for research projects which require aerosol samples.

The environmental research laboratory has an electrical aerosol analyzer, optical counters, condensation nuclei counters, an electrical particle classifier, an ultra-centrifuge, cascading impactors, and a monodisperse particle generator. Other facilities include acoustic generators, aerodynamic siren, Hartman whistles, and a vibration piston.
