3D Microfabrication
The figure above shows an air-lifted screwed wind vane array fabricated using computer controlled multidirectional ultraviolet (UV) lithography, which enables integrable complex three dimensional (3-D) microstructures for the applications of terahertz antennas or micro turbines. Professor Y. K. Yoon had pioneered this new technique and is expanding the ultimate capabilities under funding from the National Science Foundation.
