Graduate Degree Programs

The Department of Electrical Engineering offers courses of study leading to the degrees Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), Master of Science (M.S.), and Master of Engineering (M.Eng.). Each of the Electrical Engineering graduate programs has its own set of requirements. The Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees can be obtained in the fields of Communications and Signal Processing; Microelectronics, Photonics, and Materials; and Energy Systems.

NIH has funded EE faculty researchers to develop novel colorimetric sensors based on a novel holographic interferometry method for producing 1-D, 2-D and 3-D photonic bandgap structures. These structures are being studied for applications in wound healing. >>
