What makes study here especially attractive are the highly interdisciplinary research programs. By combining different fields in study and research, the department not only broadens students' horizons but also helps students lay a solid foundation for their future careers in the increasingly interdisciplinary engineering and science areas.
My advisor gives me the freedom to explore and pursue what I'm really interested in. He has done lots of research and keeps close to the front of his field so his experience is very valuable. Right now I'm working with my lab mates in bionanophotonics.
