Scaled Units

In many problems, it is easier to use a set of scaled units rather than the basic ones.  This set is completely consistant and is recommended whenever the circuit to be solved has units that are more "real to life" than those where the basic units make the most sense.  The scaled units are:

• voltage - volts
• current - milliamps
• resistance - kilohms
• capacitance - microfarads
• inductance - henries
• time - milliseconds
• power - milliwatts
